Holding a block of hotel rooms for a group? Enter your contract numbers and see how many room-nights you must use, what a shortfall could cost and how many rooms to release before the release date.
Results appear as you type. This is an estimate based on the numbers you enter; the terms in your hotel contract apply. Read the group booking contract checklist for what each term means.
We email you this estimate and tips for the release date. Bedtara may contact you about this group; nothing else unless you reply.
Attrition is the share of the room block a group can give up without paying for it. If the contract allows 10% attrition on 100 room-nights, the group must use or pay for at least 90.
The last date to return rooms to the hotel without a charge. Rooms released in writing before that date usually leave the block; after it, the attrition terms apply.
Minimum room-nights to use minus the room-nights you expect to use, multiplied by the room rate and by the share of the rate the hotel charges for unused rooms. Your contract may calculate it differently, for example per night instead of across the stay.
Send the city, dates and rooms per night. We quote the hotels that fit, with release and cancellation terms stated.
