Sales Visits in Ho Chi Minh City: Gifts, Car and Hotel
Short answer: if you visit eight companies in one day and bring a gift to each, the gifts need somewhere to stay between meetings. Taxis and ride-hailing cars change at every stop, so you carry every box in and out. Sending gifts ahead by courier loses the hand-over. Leaving them at the hotel means going back mid-day. A private car with a driver is the one option where the gifts stay in the car all day and you walk into each meeting with only the gift for that client. How to fit eight visits into one day
Group clients by area
Plan the day by district, not by the order clients replied. Moving back and forth across the city is what makes eight meetings impossible.
Label every gift
Put the company and contact name on each box before the day starts, so the right gift leaves the car at each stop.
Carry one or two spares
An extra person often joins the meeting. A spare gift avoids an awkward moment.
Choose the car by load
A 4-seat car suits one or two people with a few boxes. Take a 7-seat car for more gifts or three to four people, and a 16-seat van for a team.

Questions
Where do I keep client gifts if I do not hire a car?
Either carry them through every taxi ride, courier them to clients ahead of time, or leave them at hotel reception and return to collect them. Each works for a few visits; for a full day of meetings a private car with driver is easier.
Can I book a car or interpreter without a hotel room?
